Among other things, known as the Fourth of July, Independence Day, 4th July is a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day is 18th Century and the American Revolution (1775-1783). In June 1776, weighed the representatives of the 13 colonies and the fight in the revolutionary struggle of a resolution which declared its independence from Great Britain. On 2 July of the Continental Congress for independence, and two days later, the delegates of the Declaration of Independence, a historical document, written by Thomas Jefferson. From 1776 until today, was fourth July celebrated as the birth of American independence, with the typical festivals of fireworks, parades and concerts for relaxed family gatherings and barbecues.
